• The concessionaire of the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway has launched a new website for drivers A4Info.pl 22.04.2024 #Press information How to conveniently plan a trip during intensive road works and related changes in traffic flow management? From today (Monday, 22 April this year), drivers will find information about renovations and fortuitous events on the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway on the website www.a4info.pl. A graphic representation of temporary traffic flow management locations will make it easier to navigate through diversions or bottlenecks.
• A4 Katowice-Kraków: Work begins on the replacement of road surface between Katowice and Mysłowice 8.02.2024 #Press information As of Monday, 12 February 2024, temporary traffic management will be introduced due to the repair of the carriageway in the direction of Kraków. The process of replacing the road surface on the carriageway in the direction of Katowice will begin as of July. Throughout the entire period of work, two traffic lanes will remain open in each direction.
• Stalexport Autostrada Małopolska to maintain the preferential toll rate for drivers using automatic toll payments on the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway until mid-January 2024. 28.12.2023 #Press information Starting from 16 January 2024, a standardized rate of PLN 15 will apply to drivers who use automatic payments to pay toll for category 1 vehicles (excluding motorcycles).

These are connected with the continuation of repairs to the bridge and the surface of the junction.
• Replacement of the road surface on the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway begins 5.09.2023 #Press information Stalexport Autostrada Małopolska is starting to replace the surface of the concession section of the A4 motorway. From Tuesday, 5 September to Monday, 11 September, during the night hours (from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.), there will be narrowing to one lane between the Jeleń junction in Jaworzno and the Balin junction in Chrzanów due to the introduction of the changed traffic management. • A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway: Change of traffic organisation on the Brzęczkowice junction 12.06.2023 #Press information On Tuesday 13 June this year, new traffic organisation changes will be introduced at the Brzęczkowice junction in Mysłowice, related to the renovation of the bridge and the junction's pavement. They will affect drivers travelling from Tychy, Bielsko-Biała and Cieszyn towards Kraków.
• Resurfacing of A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway to commence in August 7.06.2023 #Press information Starting from mid-Q3 of this year, Stalexport Autostrada Małopolska will be resurfacing the concession section of the A4 motorway. The investment project will be carried out in a reliable and driver-friendly manner, affecting short sections at a time, with two lanes available in each direction. During the resurfacing, the bridges over the motorway will also be refurbished.

• Changes in traffic organisation due to road surface replacement at the Mysłowice junction 14.04.2023 #Press information On the concession section of the A4 motorway, the road surface of the Mysłowice junction is being replaced. Starting from 16 April this year, the Mysłowice-Kraków slip road will be closed and the narrowing of Obrzeżna Zachodnia street will be extended to the end of the junction.  The renovation work will also involve other traffic organisation changes.  
• New toll rates on the A4 Katowice-Krakow motorway do not apply to everyone — you may still be allowed to pay the previous rate at the toll plaza 30.03.2023 #Press information Starting from 3 April this year, new toll rates will apply on the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway. In the case of car drivers paying at the toll plaza by cash or card, the decision on whether the new rate will apply is up to them alone. By switching to automatic payments, they will still be able to travel at the current rates.
