RUDNO JUNCTION EXTENSION TO BE COMMENCED ON THE A4 KATOWICE-KRAKOW 24.08.2015 #Press information Stalexport Autostrada Małopolska S.A. is starting the extension of the Rudno Junction which is located in the Malopolska part of the A4 Katowice-Krakow. Thanks to the investment of PLN 7.7 million (excl. tax), until the end of first quarter of 2017 the A4 motorway will become connected with national roads no. 79 and 44 and the voivodeship road no. 780 through the existing poviat roads. Works on the extension will start on 26 August.
REPLACEMENT OF PARTS OF ROAD SURFACE ON THE A4 KATOWICE-KRAKOW 10.06.2015 #Press information Works on the replacement of road surface on the stretch of over 3 km of the toll-free section of the concession stretch of the A4 Katowice-Krakow will start today around 6 p.m. Construction works will be carried out between the Murckowska junction (intersection of the A4 with the national road 86) and Mysłowice junction, on the carriageway to Krakow.

(SAM S.A.) is increasing the range of fleet and fuel cards that may be used to pay for passage at the A4 Katowice-Krakow. From 9.30 a.m. today, drivers using the concession stretch of the A4 and passing through the Toll Plazas in Mysłowice and Balice will be able to pay with UTA fleet cards. UTA is another operator, besides PKN Orlen and Routex, whose cards will be accepted at toll booths and stations.
REPLACEMENT OF EXPANSION JOINTS ON THE A4 KATOWICE-KRAKOW FLYOVER NEAR THE MURCKOWSKA JUNCTION STRAIGHT AFTER EASTER 2.04.2015 #Press information Works on the damaged expansion joints of the flyover located on the toll-free section of the concession stretch of the A4 Katowice – Krakow motorway will start on 7 April. They will be carried out near the Murckowska Junction (intersection of the A4 with the national road 86) on the roadway in the Katowice direction. They are planned to finish on 29 April.
NEW TOLL RATES ON THE A4 KATOWICE-KRAKOW 2.02.2015 #Press information From 1 March there will be new toll rates for using the A4 Katowice-Krakow. They have been agreed upon with the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways. After the new rates are introduced, motorcyclists will pay PLN 5 at each toll plaza and category 1 vehicles drivers will have to make the payment of PLN 10.
