• REPLACEMENT OF PARTS OF ROAD SURFACE ON THE A4 KATOWICE-KRAKOW 10.06.2015 #Press information Works on the replacement of road surface on the stretch of over 3 km of the toll-free section of the concession stretch of the A4 Katowice-Krakow will start today around 6 p.m. Construction works will be carried out between the Murckowska junction (intersection of the A4 with the national road 86) and Mysłowice junction, on the carriageway to Krakow.
• STALEXPORT AUTOSTRADA MAŁOPOLSKA S.A. DEVELOPING CASHLESS PAYMENTS_UTA FUEL CARDS NOW ACCEPTED ON THE A4 KATOWICE-KRAKOW 11.05.2015 #Press information Stalexport Autostrada Małopolska S.A. (SAM S.A.) is increasing the range of fleet and fuel cards that may be used to pay for passage at the A4 Katowice-Krakow. From 9.30 a.m. today, drivers using the concession stretch of the A4 and passing through the Toll Plazas in Mysłowice and Balice will be able to pay with UTA fleet cards. UTA is another operator, besides PKN Orlen and Routex, whose cards will be accepted at toll booths and stations.
• REPLACEMENT OF EXPANSION JOINTS ON THE A4 KATOWICE-KRAKOW FLYOVER NEAR THE MURCKOWSKA JUNCTION STRAIGHT AFTER EASTER 2.04.2015 #Press information Works on the damaged expansion joints of the flyover located on the toll-free section of the concession stretch of the A4 Katowice – Krakow motorway will start on 7 April. They will be carried out near the Murckowska Junction (intersection of the A4 with the national road 86) on the roadway in the Katowice direction. They are planned to finish on 29 April.
• NEW TOLL RATES ON THE A4 KATOWICE-KRAKOW 2.02.2015 #Press information From 1 March there will be new toll rates for using the A4 Katowice-Krakow. They have been agreed upon with the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways. After the new rates are introduced, motorcyclists will pay PLN 5 at each toll plaza and category 1 vehicles drivers will have to make the payment of PLN 10.

INTRODUCES NEW PAYMENT METHODS ON THE A4 KATOWICE-KRAKOW 30.01.2015 #Press information From 1 February drivers travelling on the A4 Katowice-Krakow and going through the toll plazas in Mysłowice and Balice will be able to pay for using this stretch with fleet and fuel cards. Introducing convenient and cashless payments is the result of the carried out replacement of toll collection devices that is part of a comprehensive programme of increasing the capacity of toll plazas implemented by(SAM S.A.).

The messages are to encourage drivers to use phones responsibly while driving.

IS STARTING A PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN DEVOTED TO SENSIBLE USE OF SMARTPHONES WHILE DRIVING 9.10.2014 #Press information "Be #smA4rt, drive safely!" is the slogan of a campaign initiated by Stalexport Autostrada Małopolska S.A. (SAM S.A.) concerning sensible use of smartphones while driving. The aim of the action is to increase drivers' awareness about using mobile phones in accordance with the regulations of the Traffic Code and minimising the negative impact of this activity on the safety of driving.
• ONGOING RESURFACING WORKS ON THE A4 KATOWICE-KRAKOW 8.10.2014 #Press information Resurfacing roadworks are being carried out on some sections of the A4 Katowice-Krakow in Malopolskie Voivodeship. Works are ongoing on two stretches of the motorway in the Krakow direction that are two and four kilometres long. For the period of works temporary changes in traffic management have been introduced. Road surface will have been renovated before the end of October.
