16 August 2024 - cycling race Tour de Pologne in Myslowice

On 16 August 2024 (Friday), the V stage of the cycling race "81st Tour de Pologne UCI World Tour"will be held. The route of stage V will run along ul. Obrzeżna Zachodnia in Mysłowice within the "Mysłowice" motorway junction (km 346 of A4 motorway).

Therefore, on 16 August between 12.30 and 12.50 p.m. and 4.00 and 4.20 p.m. temporary traffic obstructions will occur on Obrzeżna Zachodnia street and within some connectors of the Mysłowice junction (approx. 20 minutes), consisting in the closure of a section of Obrzeżna Zachodnia street within the limits of the A4 motorway lane for the duration of the cycling peloton's passage.

The traffic disruptions will not affect the main carriageways of the concession section of the A4 Katowice - Kraków motorway.

In accordance with the traffic organisation approved by the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways, Katowice Branch, for the duration of the Tour de Pologne cycling race, traffic within the motorway intersection Mysłowice will be managed by the police, and the traffic lights will be switched to the "yellow flashing" mode.
