Maintenance works and surface replacement - update

MAINTENANCE WORKS

Please be informed that due to maintenance works at km 384 and 391 the following lanes will be closed:

30 August

• on the carriageway to Katowice, km 384.3 - km 384.4 – right lane will be closed from 4.30 PM to 7 PM
• on the carriageway to Krakow, km 384.3 - km 384.4 – right lane will be closed from 7 PM to 5 AM next day
  

31 August

• on the carriageway to Krakow km 391+950 – km 392+000 – right lane will be closed from 8 to 9.30 AM 
• on the carriageway to Krakow km 391+950 – km 392+000 - emergency lane will be closed from 9.30 AM to 3 PM
• on the carriageway to Krakow km  384+350 - km 384+400 – right lane will be closed from 2 PM to 4 PM
• on the carriageway to Katowice km  384+350 - km 384+400 – right lane will be closed from 6 to 7 PM
• on the carriageway to Krakow km  384+350 - km 384+400 – right lane will be closed from 7 PM to 5 AM next day
• on the carriageway to Katowice km  384+350 - km 384+400 – right lane will be closed from from 5 to 6.00 AM

SURFACE REPLACEMENTS

Replacement works have been commenced on the carriageway to Katowice, between the toll collection plaza in Myslowice and Myslowice junction, km 351.5 - 348. There are two lanes in each direction, however during traffic organisation changes, for a short time, there could be only one lane.

These works are to be finished by the end of September.

Surface replacement works are also carried out on the carriageway to Katowice, between Balin and Jelen junctions, km 362 - 369. There are two lanes in each direction, however during traffic organisation changes, for a short time, there will be only one lane.

15 September is scheduled to begin resurfacing the carriageway to Krakow at the same section. The renovation of that carriageway will be finished on 31 October.

If you want to go Jaworzno (Katowice direction) at Byczyna junction (road No. 79) please drive on the right lane just after Balin junction.
