On 22 November before 3 am on the toll plaza in Balice closure of lanes in Katowice direction

On 22 November, at about 2:40 a.m. the traffic towards Katowice at the Balice toll plaza will be completely stopped for a maximum of 30 minutes.

On 21 November works related to the assembly of a gantry at the Balice toll plaza will be carried out on the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway. As part of the temporary traffic organisation, the following lanes will be unavailable since 9:00 pm on 21 November 2020: left access lane leading to the Balice toll plaza (km 401), as well as 7 lanes towards Katowice at the toll plaza itself. Drivers will be able to use lanes No. 2,3,4. Additionally, two internal lanes on the roadway towards Krakow will be shut down as well, i.e lanes No. 10 and No. 11.

The installation of the gantry will commence on 22 November at about 2:40 a.m. During this time, the traffic towards Katowice  at the Balice toll plaza will be completely stopped for a maximum of 30 minutes. Afterwards, drivers will be able to use lanes No. 2,3,4 once again. Standard traffic organisation will be restored on 22 November between 4:00 am and 5:00 am.

toll rates for category 1 vehicles

Please be informed that at present the toll rate for vehicles of category 1 (motorbikes, two-axle road vehicles) amounts to PLN 12 at each toll plaza i. e. in Myslowice and Balice.The toll rate for a passage with a motorbike amounts to PLN 6.

The changes in the price list are accompanied by the maintenance of the preferential rate for passenger car drivers using the A4Go and Telepass electronic toll collection as well as Autopay and SkyCash applications. Now they pay  PLN 4 less, i.e. PLN 8, at each gate.

Toll rates for the passage on the above mentioned motorway section with vehicles of other categories, i.e. categories 2 and 3 (PLN 20 at each toll plaza) and categories 4 and 5 (PLN 35 at each toll plaza) remained unchanged. Also preferential toll rates were maintained for passages with vehicles of these categories, i.e. categories 2 and 3 (PLN 17 at each toll plaza) and categories 4 and 5 (PLN 30 at each toll plaza).

CONTACLESS, SAFE METHODS OF PAYMENT

We encourage our customers to use safe, contactless automatic methods of payment: electronic toll collection A4Go & Telepass and also videotolling with Autopay application (in English as well) & SkyCash application available at Google Play and App Store.

For users of automatic methods of payment there are special, dedicated toll gates marked as in the table below (orange gates).

Toll rates valid from 1 October 2020.

The above mentioned tolls apply at one toll plaza.
