On 30 October, before 3 am on the toll plaza in Mysłowice closure of lanes in Katowice direction

On Friday, 30 October, at about 2:40 a.m. the traffic towards Katowice at the Mysłowice toll plaza will be completely stopped for a maximum of 30 minutes.

On 29 October preparatory works related to the assembly of a gantry at the Mysłowice toll plaza will be carried out on the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway. As part of the temporary traffic organisation, the following lanes will be unavailable since 9:00 pm on 29 October 2020: left access lane leading to the Mysłowice toll station (352 km), as well as 8 lanes towards Katowice at the toll plaza itself. Drivers will be able to use lanes No 17 and No 18. Additionally, two internal lanes on the roadway towards Krakow will be shut down as well, i.e lanes No 8 and No 9.

The installation of the gantry will commence on Friday, 30 October, at about 2:40 a.m. During this time, the traffic towards Katowice at the Mysłowice toll plaza will be completely stopped for a maximum of 30 minutes. Afterwards, drivers will be able to use lanes No 17 and No 18 once again. Standard traffic organisation will be restored on Friday, 30 October, between 4:00 am and 5:00 am.

new toll rates for category 1 vehicles

Please be informed that at present the toll rate for vehicles of category 1 (motorbikes, two-axle road vehicles) amounts to PLN 12 at each toll plaza i. e. in Myslowice and Balice.The toll rate for a passage with a motorbike amounts to PLN 6.

The changes in the price list are accompanied by the maintenance of the preferential rate for passenger car drivers using the A4Go and Telepass electronic toll collection as well as Autopay and SkyCash applications. Now they pay  PLN 4 less, i.e. PLN 8, at each gate.

Toll rates for the passage on the above mentioned motorway section with vehicles of other categories, i.e. categories 2 and 3 (PLN 20 at each toll plaza) and categories 4 and 5 (PLN 35 at each toll plaza) remained unchanged. Also preferential toll rates were maintained for passages with vehicles of these categories, i.e. categories 2 and 3 (PLN 17 at each toll plaza) and categories 4 and 5 (PLN 30 at each toll plaza).

CONTACLESS, SAFE METHODS OF PAYMENT

We encourage our customers to use safe, contactless automatic methods of payment: electronic toll collection A4Go & Telepass and also videotolling with Autopay application (in English as well) & SkyCash application available at Google Play and App Store.

For users of automatic methods of payment there are special, dedicated toll gates marked as in the table below (orange gates).

The above mentioned tolls apply at one toll plaza.

WORKS ON THE A4 MOTORWAY, SECTION KATOWICE-KRAKOW

• Resurfacing between the Jelen and Byczyna junctions – changes in traffic organisation at the section of 4 kilometers (km 358,1 – 362,3). Two narrowed lanes in both directions with a speed limit.
• Installation of the gantry at the toll collection plaza in Mysłowice on the road to Katowice - on 29 October, at 9 p.m. the left lane at the access to the toll plaza from km 352 and 8 lanes on the toll plaza will be closed. Drivers will have two lanes at their disposal - lanes no. 17 and no.18. Additionally, two internal lanes on the road towards Krakow will be closed, i.e. lanes no. 8 and no. 9. Around 2:40 am on the road towards Katowice, traffic will be completely stopped for a maximum of 30 minutes. After the assembly is complete, the traffic on lanes 17 and 18 will be restored. The restoration of the permanent traffic organization is planned between 4.00 a.m. and 5.00 a.m. on 30 October.
• Works related to the planned assembly of the gantry at the Toll Collection Plaza in Balice - until 29 October 2020, the left extreme gates (orange, no.9 and 10) intended for automatic payments (A4Go, videotolling) will be closed. For the duration of the works, lanes 8 and 11 will be the gates intended only for automatic payments.
• Sewage system modernisation - until 16 November 2020 change in traffic organisation on the carriageway in Krakow direction before the Balin junction (km 368) at the section of 600 meters. Two narrowed lanes in both directions with a speed limit to 80 km/h.
