Surface replacement - update/ other works

SURFACE REPLACEMENT

Please be informed that due to surface replacement on the expressway S1 at the Brzeczkowice junction in Myslowice there are two narrowed lanes in each direction with a speed limit to 60 km/h.

Please be also informed that on the road S1 at Brzeczkowice junction the carriageway in Cieszyn/ Bielsko-Biala direction is divided into two lanes. It is possible to enter the A4 motorway in Krakow and Katowice direction only from the right lane.

Surface replacement on S1 at the Brzeczkowice junction is planned to be completed by 25 August 2017.

Due to surface replacement which is carried out on the carriageway to Katowice near Runo junction on the section of 6 km (km 380 - 386) there are two narrowed lanes in each direction.

SURFACE REPAIRS

- on the carriageway to Krakow between Chrzanow and Rudno junctions

• from 11 to 13 July,  8:00  AM -  5 PM only one lane at the section of 400 m (km 378) with a speed limit to 80 km/h
• on 11 July from 11 AM to the evening hours only one lane at km 372 and from km 374.2 to 374.8 with a speed limit to 80 km/h

- on the carriageway to Katowice between Balice and Chrzanow junctions

• on 11 July from 11 AM to the evening hours only one lane at km 388.6 and km 374.9 with a speed limit to 80 km/h

CONSTRUCTION OF INFORMATION TABLES

Due to works connected with installation of information tables there will be only one lane at short section:

• 12 July from 7 AM do 1 PM on the carriageway to Krakow between Balin and Chrzanow junctions (km 370.3)
• 12 July from 1 PM to 7 PM on the carriageway to Katowice between Balin and Chrzanow junctions (km 370.3)
• 13 July from 7 AM do 1 PM on the carriageway to Krakow after Chrzanow junction (km 373.8)
• 13 July from 1 PM to 7 PM on the carriageway to Katowice after  Rudno junction (km 373.8)
