Surface replacement - update/ redevelopment of rest areas in Kepnica and Zastawie

SURFACE REPAIR

Please be informed that due to surface repairs:

• on 4 August from 8 to 9 AM on the carriageway to Katowice near to the rest area in Zastawie (km 362) there will be only one lane at the section of 200 meters  with a speed limit to 80 km/h.

 SURFACE REPLACEMENT

1. Please be informed that due to surface replacement on the expressway S1 at Brzeczkowice junction in Myslowice there are two narrowed lanes in Cieszyn direction.

• on 3 August from 8 PM to 5 AM near the Brzeczkowice junction there will be only one lane at the section of 300 meters, at first on the carriageway to Katowice and then to Krakow with a speed limit to 80 km/h. 
  

Please be also informed that on the road S1 at Brzeczkowice junction the carriageway in Cieszyn/ Bielsko-Biala direction is divided into two lanes. It is possible to enter the A4 motorway in Krakow and Katowice direction only from the right lane.

Surface replacement on S1 at the Brzeczkowice junction is planned to be completed by 25 August 2017.

2. Due to surface replacement  between Rudno junction and the toll plaza in Balice at the section of 4.6 km  (km 392 to 396.6) there are two narrrowed lanes on both carriageways with a speed limit to 80 km/h.

OTHER WORKS

• redevelopment of rest areas in Kepnica (about 12 kilometers after the toll plaza in Myslowce, Krakow direction) and Zastawie (about 9 kilometers after Chrzanow junction). Fuels are still on sale, but gastronomic services and other sales are limited, except for hotel services. On behalf of PKN Orlen - the operartor of rest areas - we apologise for inconveniences.
