Surface replacement / other works

SURFACE REPLACEMENT

Please be informed that due to surface replacement  between the Rudno junction and the toll plaza in Balice at the section of 4.6 km (km 392 to 396.6)

• on 29 August from 7 to 10 PM or on 30 August from 5 to 7 AM on the carriageway to Krakow there will be one lane on the section of 4.6 km with a speed limit to 80 km/h.
  

Then there will be two narrowed lanes in both directions.

We apologise for inconveniences and ask for careful driving.

OTHER WORKS

• on 29 August from 9 AM to 2 PM on the carriageway to Katowice, between the toll plaza in Balice and the Rudno junction (km 385) one lane at the section of 100 meters (current repairs)
• on 30 August from 7 AM to 3 PM on the carriageway to Katowice near the Jelen junction in Jaworzno (km 360) one lane at the section of 100 meters (current repairs)
• redevelopment of rest areas in Kepnica (about 12 kilometers after the toll plaza in Myslowce, Krakow direction) and Zastawie (about 9 kilometers after Chrzanow junction). Fuels are still on sale, but gastronomic services and other sales are limited, except for hotel services. On behalf of PKN Orlen - the operartor of rest areas - we apologise for inconveniences.
• sewage system modernisation: on the carriageway to Krakow right after the Murckowska junction in Katowice (km 341), there are two narrowed lanes on the section of 600 meters.
  
• road marking inspection: in the period from 28 August to 10 September during 3 days (depending on the weather conditions) there will be short term narrowings to one lane on the sections of 400 meters with a speed limit to 80 km/h.
