Surface replacement/ on 25 & 29 August the motorway closure for 20 minutes

SURFACE REPLACEMENT

Please be informed that due to surface replacement  between the Rudno junction and the toll plaza in Balice at the section of 4.6 km  (km 392 to 396.6)

  • on 23 August from 1 to 2 PM there will be only one lane in Krakow direction and then two narrrowed lanes on both carriageways with a speed limit to 80 km/h.

We apologise for inconveniences and ask for careful driving.

ATTENTION!

Please be informed that due to assembly of some elements of information tables and gantries:

  • on 25 August between 3 and 4 AM the motorway near the Balin junction in Chrzanow (km 370) will be closed in both directions for about 20 minutes
  • on 28 August from 7 PM to 6 AM on the carriageway to Krakow near the Chrzanow junction there will be only one lane on the section of 100 meters
  • on 28 August from 11.30 PM to 5 AM on the carriageway to Katowice near the Chrzanow junction there will be only one lane on the section of 100 meters
  • on 29 August between 3 and 4 AM the motorway near the Chrzanow junction (km 373) will be closed in both directions for about 20 minutes.

OTHER WORKS

  • redevelopment of rest areas in Kepnica (about 12 kilometers after the toll plaza in Myslowce, Krakow direction) and Zastawie (about 9 kilometers after Chrzanow junction). Fuels are still on sale, but gastronomic services and other sales are limited, except for hotel services. On behalf of PKN Orlen - the operartor of rest areas - we apologise for inconveniences.
  • sewage system modernisation: on 23 August from 7 PM to 1 AM on the carriageway to Krakow, right after the Murckowska junction in Katowice (km 341), there will be only one lane on the section of 650 meters. From 24 August to 4 September there will be two narrowed lanes in Krakow direction on the section of 600 meters.
  • surface repair - on 24 August for about 8 hours on the carraigeway to Krakow after the Rudno junction (km 386) there will be only one lane on the section of 400 meters with a speed limit to 80 km/h.
