Surface replacement/ other works

SURFACE REPLACEMENT

Please be informed that due to surface replacement  between the Rudno junction and the toll plaza in Balice at the section of 4.6 km (km 392 to 396.6) there are two narrowed lanes in both directions with a speed limit to 80 km/, but:

• from 8 to 11 September, from 7 PM to 10 AM on the both carriageways there will be local narrowings to one lane at the section of 500 meters with a speed limit to 80 km/h.
  

Surface replacement is also planned at the section of 7 km between the Murckowska junction in Katowice and the Brzeczkowice junction in Myslowice (km 341.6 - 348.5)

• preparation works - on 6 September on the carriageway to Krakow there will be local narrowings to one lane at the section of 400 meters with a speed limit to 80 km/h.
• at night on 7/8 September from 7 PM to 6 AM on the carriageway to Krakow there will be local narrowings to one lane at the section of 500 meters with a speed limit to 80 km/h.
• from 10 to 13 September, from 7 PM to 7 AM on the carriageway to Krakow there will be local narrowings to one lane at the section of 500 meters with a speed limit to 80 km/h
• from 13 September there will be two narrowed lanes in both directions with a speed limit to 80 km/h.

Please be informed that traffic jams may occur in Katowice direction in the morning hours.

OTHER WORKS

• redevelopment of rest areas in Kepnica (about 12 kilometers after the toll plaza in Myslowce, Krakow direction) and Zastawie (about 9 kilometers after Chrzanow junction). Fuels are still on sale, but gastronomic services and other sales are limited, except for hotel services. On behalf of PKN Orlen - the operartor of rest areas - we apologise for inconveniences.
