Surface replacements and other works - update

SURFACE REPLACEMENT

Please be informed that due to surface replacement

• between the Rudno junction and the toll plaza in Balice at the section of 3 km (km 392 to 395) - the main works have been completed. There are two lanes in both directions.
• between the Murckowska junction in Katowice and the Brzeczkowice junction in Myslowice at the section of 7 km (km 341.6 - 348.5) there are 2 narrowed lanes in both directions with a speed limit to 80 km/h.

Please be informed that traffic jams may occur in Katowice direction in the morning hours.

OTHER WORKS

• from 21 to 23 October horizontal marking renovation
• on 24 October local narrowings to one lane at the sections of 200 meters on the carriageway to Katowice (before the Rudno (km 388) and the Chrzanow junctions (km 375 and 372)
• 24 October local narrowings to one lane at the sections of 100 meters on the carriageway to Katowice after the Rudno junction (km 380) and on the carriageway to Krakow between the Rudno junction and the toll plaza in Balice (km 391)
• 24 & 25 October local surface repairs on both carriageways
• redevelopment of rest areas in Kepnica (about 12 kilometers after the toll plaza in Myslowce, Krakow direction) and Zastawie (about 9 kilometers after Chrzanow junction). Fuels are still on sale, but gastronomic services and other sales are limited, except for hotel services. On behalf of PKN Orlen - the operartor of rest areas - we apologise for inconveniences.
