Works on the A4 motorway, section Katowice-Krakow - update

We kindly inform you about the current traffic problems on the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway.

1. In Mysłowice, due to the renovation of the bridge over a section of approx. 2 km (from km 348 to km 350)

•  the carriageway in the direction of Kraków is closed,
• on the carriageway in the direction of Katowice, 2 narrowed lanes are intended for traffic in the direction of Katowice and 2 narrowed lanes for traffic in the direction of Krakow.

The completion of renovation works is scheduled for December 2022.

RESURFACING ON THE MOTORWAY JUNCTIONS

• at the Balin junction in Chrzanów (km 369.5) - a slip road closed from Katowice to Chrzanów / Balin. The detour was mapped out by the neighboring Chrzanów junction at km 371.5. Completion of works is scheduled for the end of November this year.
• at the Chrzanów junction (km 372) - a  slip road closed from Kraków to Trzebinia. The detour was marked out by the remaining slip roads of the Chrzanów junction. Completion of works is scheduled for the beginning of December this year.
• on November 14, at the Mysłowice junction (km 346) - in the morning hours it is planned to narrow the slip road from Mysłowice to Katowice to one lane, while maintaining the passability of the slip road with one lane. Completion of works is scheduled for mid-December this year.
• on November 16, at the Brzeczkowice junction in Mysłowice (km 349) - in the morning hours, the Łódź / Warsaw - Katowice slip road is planned to be closed. The detour was marked by the remaining slip roads of the Brzeczkowice junction. Completion of works is scheduled for the beginning of December this year.
