Works on the A4 motorway, section Katowice-Krakow - update

We kindly inform you about the current traffic difficulties on the A4 Katowice-Kraków motorway.

In Mysłowice, in connection with the renovation of the bridge over a section of approx. 2 km (from km 348 to km 350):

• the road towards Krakow is closed,
• on the carriageway in the direction of Katowice, 2 narrowed lanes are intended for traffic in the direction of Katowice and 2 narrowed lanes for traffic in the direction of Kraków.

Completion of renovation works is planned for December 2022.

RESURFACING AT MOTORWAY JUNCTIONS

• at the Mysłowice junction (km 346) - on the slip road from Mysłowice to Katowice narrowing to one lane. Completion of works is scheduled for mid-December this year.
• on November 17, at the Mysłowice junction - in the morning it is planned to narrow to one lane a part of the Obrzeżna Zachodnia street in the relation Mysłowice Centrum - Mysłowice Brzezinka, while maintaining passability with one lane.
• on November 22, at the Brzęczkowice junction in Mysłowice (km 349) - in the morning, the Łódź/Warszawa - Katowice slip road is planned to be closed. The detour was marked out through other slip roads of the Brzęczkowice junction. Completion of works is scheduled for mid-December this year.
• at the Balin junction in Chrzanow (km 369.5) - closed slip road from Katowice to Chrzanów/Balin. The detour was marked out through neighboring Chrzanów junction at km 371.5. Completion of works is scheduled for the end of November this year.
• at the Chrzanów junction (km 372) - closed slip road between Kraków and Trzebinia. The detour was marked out through the other slip roads of the Chrzanow junction. Completion of works is scheduled for the beginning of December this year.
• on November 21, at the Chrzanow junction - in the morning, the Trzebinia - Katowice slip road is planned to be closed. The detour was marked out through the remaining slip roads of the Chrzanow junction and using the roundabout along the national road No. 79 at McDonald's. Completion of works is scheduled for the end of December.
