Motorway services

The A4 Katowice-Kraków section is patrolled on a 24 hours basis, and every motorway point is controlled every 2 hours at day and every 4 hours at night. The motorway services cooperate closely with the rescue units providing premedical and medical aid (police, fire service, ambulance service).

In the event of an accident the maximum time for the emergency service to reach the accident scene is 40 minutes since the receipt of the respective message.
